Kickstarter delivery… 🚚

There was a transitional time when I was pretty sure that Savage Worlds was ‘my system’ but I wasn’t yet ‘fully in’. Because of that, I skipped one of the Deadlands campaign (Hell on the High Plains) and since then I have decided to go ‘all in’ and so some back ordering was needed… The cheapest way to get the stuff was to add it to another campaign, so I added those bits to the Legend of Ghost Mountain campaign. Which has just arrived!

Ghost Mountain included a bonus reward of the imperial dragon miniature, which is the first big mini that Pinnacle have tried:

I’d call that a successful pilot! The mini is about 3.5in / 100mm tall and a single piece. This might just encourage me to get my paints out again.

Heavy Gear 4th Edition RPG has now arrived in corpulent POD physical form. A cheaper paper doorstop of a tome, that I would really like to try out and play. VTT support is Roll20 only, so it might be another ugly bodge for me on Foundry, but I'm sure I can get it to work.

Probably the last Mothership book I’ll pick up, again a KS which seems to have beaten the new Mothership box set.

My Outgunned books have arrived too. I’m really impressed by the core game and love the possibilities opened up by Action Flicks. I can definitely imagine running something along the line of Aliens. And I’m pretty sure Dracula Dossier would work, with a few tweaks to make the game feel satisfying over a longer campaign, rather than the max 6-8 sessions envisaged.

Perfect "just pick it up and run it" book of 5e one offs. I have used AAW before and if you top and tail them with some plot, some roleplaying opportunities they make a satisfying afternoon game.1714151676374.jpg

After seeing a YouTube review by a guy who has some similar likes to me, I looked up Black Rose Wars Rebirth and was able to find a person selling an unopened set…

It looks really interesting in the previews I have seen so hopefully it will get to the table soon…

The mind boggling bit is the main game is the box on the bottom, everything else is an ‘extra’ 😳

Here’s the video that sold me on it…

Better here than in the temptation thread as I will splurge in a moment.

Coming to the legendary Dead Forest in search of treasure, glory and a solution to the ancient curse laying waste to the forest, the adventurers soon find themselves embroiled in an epic conflict reaching back to the very foundations of the world. Path of Glory was the first major adventure campaign released for the original Swedish edition of the Dragonbane RPG (Drakar och Demoner), in three installments during 1985 and 1986: The Dead Forest, Gates of Power, and Heart of Darkness. This new edition, reimagined and updated by Free League and the original author Roger Undhagen, collects the trilogy in a single volume
