[generic] What are you backing?

Delta Green wrote: “We have funded eight full-color, hardback books, eight paperback scenarios, the King in Yellow tarot deck first described in Countdown, and a trade paperback edition of the annotated King in Yellow (with the Yellow Sign itself in a clasp as our gift to you and those you love).

That's 2,422 pages of Delta Green resources and research. A $100 "everything digital" pledge would get $292 in PDFs. A $300 "everything digital and print" pledge would get $292 in PDFs plus $615 in physical rewards. If we hit that last, astonishing goal.”

They’ve blown through the $400k and have added one last goal at $420k:

This is the last one….
Argh! I love Delta Green. but this would be me dropping $300 on books I would almost definitely never read through in their entirety (like so many others) AND I already have Countdown, Eyes Only and the original core book. Sigh... ((wanders off to mutter to myself in a darkened corner knowing that not backing the last one means that I don't have a shiny copy of Impossible Landscapes in my possession already...))

What he said.. plus.. POSTAGE from foreign lands is as offputting as the reintroduction of roaming charges.. thanks Brexit and Trump..

I'm taking a risk. I've been stung by Son's of Oak before - the City of Mist rules were so large that they were (at least to me) almost completely useless. Later prints broke them down into multiple books for initial kickstarter backers, it hurt.

However I think they've learned from that mistake, and I'm backing the awesome looking Queerz

Currently:

Agemonia : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lautapelitfi/agemonia
Dee Sanction Adventures : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/allrolledup/the-dee-sanction-adventures

I was tempted by the Compass reprint of The Russian Campaign but as it's likely to ship from the USA I thought not.

Agemonia looks good to me from what I've seen of the playthroughs, but it's suffering the "Gods War effect" where there are lots of people complaining endlessly about shipping and having to pay VAT (best quote was from TGW where someone said they had never paid VAT on anything ever before) and the funding keeps going up and down, Still, it's funded and will probably pick up in the last 48 hours.

Also backing Into the Odd, and https://www.kickstarter.com/project...m-h-p-lovecraft-film-festival-and-cthulhu-con (usually I just back for the T-shirts which are pretty good designs).

Upcoming:

Voidfall: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/337627/voidfall (4X space empire Euro game)
Fractal: Beyond the Void: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/299106/fractal-beyond-void (another 4X space game)
Weather Machine: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/237179/weather-machine (Vital Lacerda does Wilhelm Reich)
Thunder Road: Vendetta: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/342070/thunder-road-vendetta (redone version of 80s Mad Max alike)

If Mari Kondo askes me to justify this excess, I will blame Fitzban.
Why have a treasury of dragons without investing in a dragon-resplendent playground by Ed Greenwood?

So I finally backed Tanares but just the Campaign Book, I never liked all the many Player books deviating from the core anyway.

So happy I backed The One Ring 2nd Edition. The art is even more evovative than the first edition (I missed that one and went for 5e Adventures in Middle-Earth).

Damn1 Fria Ligan show know how to do justice to old school fantasy. May be something in the water in Sweden.
