I still can't work out the value proposition on pod vs offset
I think one problem might be that the content here is not new? Haven't all these adventures been released in pdf a while back.Paul Wiggy Wade-Williams' project is successfully funded, but just limping to the finish line. A pity that Ubiquity does not get more love.
This is the Leagues of Adventure, though I often mix it with my Space 1889 when the action takes place on Terra Firma.
Meanwhile, the Shadowdark RPG that turns 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons into a B/X nostalgia rulebook is heading for a million.

The Space 1889 Ubiquity Kickstarters offered a good selection of books. Pity the company closed shop before the Moon book was published.I think one problem might be that the content here is not new? Haven't all these adventures been released in pdf a while back.
I'd love to see more love for ubiquity, it's a great system. Alas the disappearance of the two companies making HEX and Space 1889 has probably hurt it.
I would love to know how that project is doing it. I keep looking at the available information, and it's just odd. Solid writing, good combination of B/X and 5E features, reasonable black & white art, high printing standards is what I'm seeing. Yet there is nothing here that makes it stand out technically from OSE, Beyond the Wall, Basic Fantasy, LotFP, or a tonne of other retroclonishes (and OSE still beats it on physical quality from the looks of things). Is it just good marketing? I need some of that marketing.Meanwhile, the Shadowdark RPG that turns 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons into a B/X nostalgia rulebook is heading for a million.
I have really enjoyed every game of Ubiquity.
I keep meaning to run "All For One", the Musketeers game.
The other issue with this is pricing; £50 + shipping for a 150pp book seems a lot, heading towards completionist only territory.Paul Wiggy Wade-Williams' project is successfully funded, but just limping to the finish line. A pity that Ubiquity does not get more love.

I have the FC on a never never when it gets here order with Travelling Man.You should check out the shipping for Savage Worlds books straight from Pinnacle. The last time I checked it was $99 to ship the Fantasy Companion. I remember paying $8 for shipping not so long ago.
