• The Tavern needs to be a safe place and comply with the law. In the UK the OSA requires us to know the age of our members and posters, and yet the UK Govt. has not provided a method to do this that is affordable to small voluntary BBS like ours. Following a variety of real world issues we've finally recovered access to the web server, upgraded the PHP back-end and got the website build files back and running. Hopefully more updates soon!

Unfortunately, due to the moderation requirements of the UK Online Safety Act, we have turned off comments to this blog.

As this is published, we have some issues with the web redirect from bits.org.uk which we are working to resolve but BITSUK.net is fully live.
