Hi Folks,

I’m excited to announce that I’m planning to get back into online roleplaying by running a Star Trek Adventures (2e) game on Start Playing. It will be set in late 2286 (Movie Era - so you get to wear Maroon) aboard the USS Odysseus (NCC-26278), a recently refitted Miranda-class light cruiser transformed into a Crisis and Emergency Response vessel.

Here’s the plan:
★ Session Zero: Friday, 13th December (assuming we get enough players).
★ Session One: Friday, 10th January, Friday, 3rd January with weekly sessions to follow.

I've also created a title sequence for the game. When I have actual players I’ll swap in player and character names. At the moment it’s just placeholders….

How to sign up:
The game is currently not publicly listed, so only people with this link can sign up. It will go public on Start Playing on Friday, 6th December, around 8pm, giving you an early chance to grab a spot before it’s open to everyone else.

★ Game goes public on Start Playing on Friday, 6th December, around 8pm.

Important Note:
If you sign up before 7th December, Start Playing may try to schedule the Session Zero earlier than 13th December. Please ignore this! I will manually adjust to ensure Session Zero will remain on 13th December.

Little demand on here for Star Trek?
That's cool although a little disappointing. I know I'll pick players up when I open it up to the world, although I was hoping for more people I already know.
Anyway you have two days left to leap the queue.
 
I simply don't game on Fridays.

We once again have a free slot.

We've had a drop out - someone who suddenly figured out what GMT meant and realised the game was the middle of the working day for them.

We've generated characters and agreed safety tools, but the first actual session is 3rd January - so you still have time to get in at the beginning.

For anyone wondering how these are going we’re recording them as actual plays - and the first one premieres in about 30 minutes.


The first one has a few recording teething problems, but episodes 2 and 3 have less. We’re solving them one by one as we go. We’re new to this actual play thing.
