Polar Blues
Rune Priest
A while back I got the urge to extract the basic system used in some of my other games like Cyberblues City and Lawmen v Outlaws and turn it into a generic, multi-genre system. I figured it would be easy. It wasn't. And all along, asking myself the same question: why bother making a genric version of Fudge, when Fudge is already a generic system?
To be honest, I still don't really have a good answer to that question, but I carried on with this project (thank you lockdown) and I'm rather pleased with the final product. Polar Fudge Adventures plays very well and very fast. It takes a lot of the weight off GMing and suits the way I like running games and I got to draw a lot polar bears. So there's that.
It's all free. You can grab a copy if you wish to at the old UK Roleplaying Collective website: https://ukrpdc.wordpress.com/2022/07/24/polar-fudge-adventures/
The magic/power is a bit the jewel in the crown of Polar Fudge Adventures. But just because I believe in easy I've also created a set of reference cards for each spell/power
you can print and cut out. https://ukrpdc.wordpress.com/2022/10/08/polar-fudge-adventures-power-cards/ I think the Polar Fudge Adventures breakfast cereal is next.
