[Traveller] Orbital 2100 - Far Horizon - game pitch

I’m thinking of running Far Horizon over the Christmas period. This is an exploration heavy scenario, set in the Zozer Orbital 2100 setting for Cepheus. You play the crew of an interplanetary explorer which is diverted in the Kuiper Belt to explore a fast moving rogue planet with a limited window of opportunity. This is the kind of thing seen in Arthur C Clarke’s Rendezvous with Rama. Players will control several characters - one of the surface team and another in the ship. Can they discover the secrets of this interstellar wanderer before it heads back out into the dark?

Knowledge of the setting isn’t important - think a modern day hard SF setting. The kind of tech seen in Avatar, 2010 etc. I’ll be using a light veneer of Traveller rather than Cepheus (but mechanically they’re very similar).

Probably going to run on VTT, sometime between 28th and 7th Jan. Scenario will take 4-6 hours most likely.
