Update 2.
We're now at 27 attendees which is close to the number we need to be viable; it'd be good to get that to 35 before the end on the month as that gives us confidence we have the numbers in place to go ahead. So if you've been delaying registering, please consider doing so, and please spread the word.

I love science fiction games too much that I want to play most of them, leaving little room to run.

Today, I almost purchased the Twilight Imperium Genesys that Graham is running when I was buying the Pirate Borg rulebook. I am bringing my swarm of funky dice for Genesys along. :)

Latest Update for North Star.

We're good on numbers and final registration close out will by this coming Friday 28th April. GM pre-booking will start swiftly after that as we are two weeks from the con.

We could do with some more games being offered, especially in Slot 4 (3 spaces), Slot 2 & 5 (2 spaces each) as some people won't have spaces from what we have offered. If you can offer another game as a GM, please consider it.

Last call for GM games for North Star. We are close to the number we need, but an extra game across each of the slots would be good. Either that or we could do with making some of the (4) games (5) instead!

Hi all, we could do with one more game in Slot 2 and one more in Slot 5 if anyone wants? Also GMs, please fill in your game details! I expect to open GM pre-booking on Saturday or Sunday so we need them ready to go!

GM pre-booking for games is imminent but awaiting the following GMs to complete their game details

Slot 1 - Paul Mitchener - Crescendo of Violence
Slot 2 - Paul Lawrence - Savage Worlds - It was supposed to be a milk run
Slot 3 - Paul Lawrence - Savage Worlds - Here be Dragons
Slot 5 - Simon Beaver - Myriad Song - The Last Chord

Once those are in I, booking will open.

As all GMs but one have finalised their details for games, I'm opening GM-Prebooking until Weds 3rd May 2023.

As usual, you get one prebook for every game that you have run. Simply find your name and add the four games that you would like to play it (name of game and slot please) in order of preference. Once these are in I run the randomiser. Then I go through the list and allocate you to your first choice if available, then your second if I can't get you in the first etc. We don't pre-book more than half the slots in a game to GMs. If you don't get in, you can always try again with your player slot. If there are complications then I will reach out to you.

Prepare for the jump to light speed!

Nearly half done for the GMs… that’s impressive. At this rate I may be able to open the player pre-booking early.

And so many want to play Dune but not run Dune. I told Modiphius that Dune as written in core book is only playable after much suffering by GMs, hence, so few volunteer to run it.

I’m currently hacking the Dune Cribsheet I did into an STA one. I think that Dune is more simple but the abstraction makes it more obtuse and difficult to use.
