Introduce Yourself

Evening, all. Been meaning to join this since meeting the Guvnor at Airecon, but better late than never. I'm Ian, live just outside Edinburgh, and I've been a player of roles since encountering the Judge Dredd RPG in the mid-80s. Nowadays, I have regular gaming opportunities locally, but also like to turn up at conventions to meet new people and play new/old games. Also a fan of boardgames, which I get to play regularly at a local club (the small town I live in has a surprisingly large number of gamers).

Hi, I'm Jim, in Australia. I've played most editions of D&D and Pathfinder to some extent, spent a fair bit of time with Alternity (for which I'm a moderator for AlternityRPG.net), played a few other RPGs and read many. A brief 2300AD campaign is a fond memory.

Recently (likw today, 1st July) we have this online TavernCon to play ganes remotely in a sort of convention environment to try out new RPGs.

Hey - similar to @AdvBuffo my blog Seed of Worlds has been appearing in the blogs forum and folk have been responding so I figured I'd best rock up and reply.

For background, I'm currently based in Austria, started in the 90's in Ireland, lived/played in Scotland for a bit. Mostly gaming with RPGVienna at the moment, trying to set up events to catch this wave of new players turning up to try out gaming on the back of the movie and now Baldurs Gate 3.

Started with AD&D, now my home campaign is 3.5e, most of my gaming is 5e for ease of making tables - though I also run some Brancalonia.
