One of the absolute best OSR adventures ever published is Emmy Allen’s Garden’s of Ynn. It’s the original depthcrawl adventure.
A depthcrawl is an adventure in which the environment is randomly generated. Each time they players enter a new area, the GM rolls on a series of tables to determine what’s there. The players have the option to go deeper to new random location, or back to a previous location. It requires quite a bit of improv on the GM’s part, but when it works, it sings.
In Ynn, the players enter an endless extra-dimensional garden originally created, now abandoned, by the Sidhe, an ancient elf-like race. What’s left of the gardens is full of strange places, devices, and creatures, frequently dangerous and beautiful. It’s got a really nice atmosphere of weird menace
A few years ago, Tamás Kisbali posted a cheat sheet for Ynn on his Eldritch Fields blog. It had the basic tables for Locations, Details, Events, and other bits. It also listed the basic OSR stats for all of the creatures found within. It saved a lot of time and page-flipping when actually running the game, though it did include the page numbers for the original book.
I recently ran a session of Ynn, and I’ve made an updated version of the cheat sheet. The original used the page numbers for the first edition of Ynn, but an updated hardcover version was released a few years later. I’ve made a version that uses the new page numbers.
The original also listed the Saving Throw tables for Lamentations of the Flame Princess, presumably because that’s the game they used. My OSR of choice is Basic Fantasy, so I included the saving throw tables from there.
