• The Tavern needs to be a safe place and comply with the law. In the UK the OSA requires us to know the age of our members and posters, and yet the UK Govt. has not provided a method to do this that is affordable to small voluntary BBS like ours. To that end, all members are safe and secure, we know you must be adults by now. However if you wish to join as a member, please contact us using the form at the [very] bottom of the page and we shall do a one to one verifiaction.

[D&D] Dreadwood Tales - a D&D game seeking online players

Our group has space in a game for players to join us online (on a non-streamed, virtual tabletop game).
Check out this handy flowchart to see if this could be the game for you.
(I've linked to the chart off-board as the message board resolution hasn't come out so well; click to access)

If you answer "yes" all the way - congratulations, it sounds like you're just who we're looking for!
Check out the attached briefing document, then if it all sounds good, let's talk more.

Target start date is 05/05/24.

Anyone reading this: we've recruited one new player for our game which starts this coming Sunday evening May 5th.

We still have space for one more player, so anyone interested should contact me, pronto! (read the above for more info)

At this point, I will not have time to haggle over the finer details of character builds or infodump background and houserules, so anyone else joining from this point will be given a pregen character sympathetic to the setting which we can maybe tweak a little before game.

Checking my email I spotted that someone requested shared access to the flowchart. My impression was that the link I provided would grant this access by default, but perhaps not.

The flowchart's in the Dreadwood Briefing pdf, anyway.

Update: the Dreadwood party is now full (actually, as of a few weeks ago, not long after my posting on May 1st). I would have posted something on this sooner but got Covid, then had a lot of stuff to catch up on once recovered.

However, I am still taking expressions of interest in other remote games we run, or will be running in future. We run other D&D games, and have Cthulhu and WFRP games we usually run n Autumn and Winter months. If you're looking for a game I can keep you as a contact and get in touch if an opportunity arises.
