On August 6th and September 3rd, I will be running the Alien Quickstart online.

Unfortunately, one of the players can no longer join us, so I am posting this advert:

Weyland-Yutani seeks experienced starfreighter captain for interim role in command of the USCSS Montero, running “the Gauntlet”— the trade route between Anchorpoint Station and the Frontier. Cargo of Helium-3 for the Sutter's World colony. Routine mission, no complications expected. This is not an intern position; fully licenced crew only, with positive proactive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges and change. Salary competitive, generous benefits package. Join one of the Network's premier corporations and help to build better worlds.

I am seeking one player for the captain's chair. If you're interested, let me know.
If you don't want to be captain, then let me know you're interested anyway and I will let the other players know and see if anyone wants a job-swap.
 
No complications expected. C'mon, it's a reasonable pay packet and gets you out into the deep black. I've piloted this run and hardly anything goes wrong.
