So I ordered Fearless Symmetries when it was released at the weekend from Pelgrane's webstore. Showed in stock (and I actually have screenshots cos I was going to blog because I'm quite excited about it), got the PDFs and enjoyed watching Steve and Paula's posts about the books.

Intriguing See Page.xx sent out by Pelgrane subsequently saying these books are on pre-order.

What?

Went back and see that the entries now have pre-order on them. And yet they weren't showing that when I ordered. In fact, I wouldn't have pre-ordered because of the Swords of the Serpentine delays, I'd have waited until it was released.

Looks like they've screwed up, perhaps run out of stock, and didn't bother to send an email about this. Not very impressed.

Must have been a small early air shipment of hard copies they had at DM last Saturday then. I got the ashcan edition by attending Convocation, the YSDC con, in September and PP were nice enough to offer us the full pdf this week.

The official answer...
Fearful Symmetries and The Book of the New Jerusalem were always on pre-order, but unfortunately our new website doesn't currently have the option to set products as pre-order. The only thing we can do at the moment is add 'Pre-order' to the title of the product, but this wasn't added when they were first listed. I spotted this was missing a couple of days later and added this in.

A limited number of books were printed as a Dragonmeet limited edition. The book is complete, so we just need to arrange the main print run, so it should only be a few months before this is released.

I'm sorry for any confusion caused. If I can help any further please let me know.

Somewhat annoyed but absolutely nothing I can do.
